Congratulatory Message Of The President Of KNU On The Occasion Of The Rise And Improvement Of The University Rank On The World

I would like to present a special thank and congratulate the university council and all our university researchers, lecturers and The employees of our university for increasing the ranking of knowledge University, which due to our hard work and efforts, we have been able to raise our university level in a short period of time and become one of the universities that will make great progress not only at the university level of the Kurdistan Region but also at the level of the universities of the world.

 

In just a week, KNU recorded a huge achievement in two different rankings, In a way, it was the fourth private university in the list of universities in Google Scholar, While it was never in the ranking list before and entered the list for the first time. 

 

According to the latest version of Webometrics ranking, which is issued for the ranking of the worlds universities and depends on some special criteria, Knowledge University has seen significant progress, which for the 2nd time becomes top university on the Kurdistan Region Universities level for the improved ranks and worldwide, 17,169 ranks have progressed in the rankings over a year. By this, it comes in the first place of private universities and the leader of all the universities of Kurdistan region.

 

Knowledge University improved 7627 ranks globally compared to the July 2021 version of the ranking list and now ranks 6,046. By this improvement, in the past six months, Knowledge University becomes the second university on the level of all the private universities of Kurdistan region in terms of progress in the ranking list of 16 universities. It will also be the first university on the level of regions private universities in a year.

 

In January 2021, it was announced that Knowledge University was 23,215 on world level, and in July 2021 it was 13,673, and in January 2022, KNU became 6046, which is an honor for all our university staff.

 

Again, I congratulate all the academic and administrative staff of Knowledge University for this great achievement and wish our university and hope we continue to achieve more and greater achievements for our university.
